Have you seen the newest Google Search Console feature? The ability to switch between data views just made trend analysis a lot easier for dealers.

We've been using this same approach in Google Analytics for years, so it's great to see GSC catching up in this area.

Google has been rolling out several new features lately, including a new Insights tab for newer users, along with automatic branded search term breakdowns (both still gradually rolling out).

While reviewing site performance for a dealer group recently, we noticed that Google Search Console now lets you toggle between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly data views. It's a genuinely useful addition.

The Weekly view smooths out day-to-day noise, things like impression spikes, ranking fluctuations, and weekend traffic patterns, giving you a clearer read on real trends.

The Monthly view zooms out even further, which works well for leadership reporting, especially when you're trying to show long-term SEO progress (or decline) without getting lost in daily fluctuations.

The Daily view still has its place too, particularly right after launching new landing pages or making site changes, when you want to track immediate impact.
